ANG Timeline is a responsive WordPress Plugin that allows you to create beautiful vertical storyline and a series of events that you can assign to that timeline.
This plugin adds the ‘timeline’ custom post type to your WordPress blog. By default, the plugin will append timeline meta information (timeline value) to the timeline post.
It will prepend text element(date) to timeline posts. Timeline widget allows you select any registered image size to show in timeline post.

From your WordPress dashboard
- Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
- Search for ‘ANG Timeline’
- Activate ‘ANG Timeline’ from your Plugins page.
- Visit ‘Timeline > Add New’ and create some posts. (You can always delete these later.)
- Go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Widgets’ and find ‘ANG Timeline widget’. Now you can display your Timeline posts.
From WordPress.org
- Download ‘ANG Timeline’.
- Upload the ‘ANG Timeline’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
- Activate ‘ANG Timeline’ from your Plugins page. (You’ll be greeted with a Welcome page.)
- Visit ‘Timeline > Add New’ and create some posts. (You can always delete these later.)
- Go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Widgets’ and find ‘ANG Timeline widget’. Now you can display your Timeline posts.

A very interesting solution. Support of templates overrides. It is easy to expand the capabilities and styled to suit my needs.
