**Smart Media Folders** is a lightweight yet powerful media management tool for 
WordPress. It allows you to organize thousands of your media files (images, audio,
video, documents) into structured, nested folders directly inside your WordPress
Media Library.

Designed for speed and simplicity, Smart Media Folders features a responsive sidebar
where you can create folders, assign individual vibrant colors to distinguish them,
and browse efficiently using dynamic breadcrumbs.

## インストール

 1. Upload the `smart-media-folders` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory,
    or install the plugin directly through the WordPress plugins screen.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
 3. Go to **Media -> Library** to see the new folders sidebar.
 4. Customize your default active highlight color via **Settings -> Smart Media Folders**.

## FAQ

### Does deleting a folder delete the actual files?

Yes! The “Delete” option uses a recursive deep-delete engine that removes the folder
taxonomy, its child folders, and permanently deletes all media attachments inside
them from your server. Please use caution as this cannot be undone.

### How can I change a folder’s color?

Simply right-click on any folder card inside the Media Grid layout, click “Change
Color”, select your preferred palette, and hit save!

### Does it slow down my WordPress Admin?

Not at all. The plugin uses optimized custom taxonomies and minimal JavaScript, 
making it incredibly fast even with thousands of media files.
