By default, WooCommerce sends every customer through the cart page before checkout. That extra step works fine for stores with multi-item baskets, but for single-product stores, digital downloads, or promotional campaigns, it’s often just friction — and friction is where sales get lost. According to research from the Baymard Institute, a lengthy or overly complicated checkout process is one of the leading reasons shoppers abandon their cart before completing a purchase. This plugin removes that friction. Click Buy Now, skip the cart, land on checkout— done. It works on Single Product pages as well as Shop, Category, and Tag pages, so the faster path to purchase follows customers wherever they start browsing, not just on individual product listings. Whether you sell physical products, digital downloads, subscriptions, or a single featured product, this plugin gives you a simple, no-code way to speed up your WooCommerce checkout flow. #### Free Features Everything you need for a working Buy Now button and Skip Cart flow is included at no cost. ✔ **Enable or disable the button anytime.** Turn the feature on or off instantly, no code required. ✔ **Skip the cart and redirect straight to checkout.** Customers bypass the cart page completely and land directly on WooCommerce Checkout. ✔ **Display it on:** * Single Product pages * Shop page * Product Category pages * Product Tag pages Choose exactly where the button shows up across your store. ✔ **Allow or block guest checkout.** Decide whether non-logged-in visitors can use it too. ✔ **Customize the button text.** Match your store’s voice — “Buy Now,” “Checkout Instantly,” or your own wording. ✔ **Customize background and text color.** Keep it on-brand and easy to read against your theme. ✔ **Choose a button shape:** * Square * Rounded * Pill ✔ **Lightweight, optimized code.** No bloat, no slowdown — just the redirect logic your store needs. ✔ **Compatible with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce versions.** Built and tested against current core releases. ✔ **Works with most WooCommerce themes.** Integrates smoothly without theme conflicts in the vast majority of setups. #### Who It’s For Almost any WooCommerce store can benefit from a shorter path to purchase — especially ones where customers already know what they want. Great for: * WooCommerce stores of any size * Digital product sellers * Physical product stores * Single-product / niche stores * Fashion and apparel shops * Electronics retailers * Beauty & cosmetics brands * Time-limited promotional campaigns * Subscription-based products #### Upgrade to Pro Need finer control over where and for whom the button appears? **Pro unlocks:** * Show it only for selected Product IDs * Show it only for selected Categories * Exclude specific Products or Categories * Restrict by User Roles * Restrict by specific User IDs * Keep existing cart contents instead of clearing them * Popup (Modal) Checkout * Custom CSS classes for deeper styling control * Advanced Product, Category & Brand targeting * Premium support and regular updates Learn more: https://pluginos.com/ ## インストール 1. WooCommerce must be installed and active for this plugin to work, since it hooks directly into the WooCommerce cart and checkout flow. ### What does Skip Cart actually do? Instead of taking customers to the cart page after they click Buy Now, this plugin redirects them straight to the WooCommerce checkout page. The cart page is bypassed entirely, cutting one full step out of the purchase journey. ### Is this true Direct Checkout for WooCommerce? Yes. Customers go from the product (or shop/category) page straight to checkout, with no cart page in between — a genuine direct-checkout flow, not just a shortcut button that still routes through the cart. ### Can I display the button on Shop or Category pages? Yes. You can enable it on the Shop page, Category pages, Product Tag pages, and Single Product pages independently, so you control exactly where it appears. ### Does it work with variable products? Yes. On archive pages, customers are sent to the product page first so they can select the required variation. On the single product page itself, the Buy Now button becomes available as soon as a variation is chosen. ### Can guest users use Instant Buy? Yes. Guest checkout access can be enabled or disabled from the plugin settings, giving you control over whether non-logged-in visitors can use the feature. ### Can I customize the Buy Now button? Yes — you can adjust the button text, background color, text color, and shape (square, rounded, or pill) to match your store’s design. ### What happens to my existing cart items? The free version clears the existing cart before adding the selected product, keeping the checkout simple and single-item. The Pro version adds an option to preserve existing cart contents instead. ### Is the plugin compatible with caching plugins? Yes. Security tokens are generated dynamically rather than cached statically, which keeps the plugin compatible with most popular page caching solutions.
