Adblocking extensions are most used to block the ads shown in browsers or websites. Nowadays, Adblock Plus is a popular extension to block ads in browsers. This will decrease the revenue of the blog owner.

Now, We have introduced the WordPress plugin (CHP Ads Block Detector WordPress Plugin) that will detect most of the AdBlock extensions installed on the browser and show a popup to disable the extension. This plugin restricts the user to access the page unless the user will disable the extension for your website.

This will work for most of the ads block extension such as Adblock, AdBlock Plus, ghostery, etc.

This plugin will also works for opera built-in ads block extension.

IMPORTANT
We have remove the Image Request from the plugin. So, Some of the extension may not be detected. If you found any extension that is not detecting then create a ticket on our website.

インストール

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

STEP:

  • ☞ Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/ads-block-detector directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  • ☞ Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  • ☞ Use the Settings ->* Ads Block Detector* screen to configure the plugin
  • ☞ (Make your instructions match the desired user flow for activating and installing your plugin. Include any steps that might be needed for explanatory purposes)

FAQ

WHAT IS CONTENT WRAPPER SETTINGS?

Content Wrapper settings is new released settings on PRO release. This settings will detect the content on the page and blur the content and show the adblock message over the content. You don’t need additional setup for this. Just enable this settings. For more details, check here.

IS IT WORKING FOR OPERA BUILT-IN ADS BLOCKER EXTENSION?

Yes, we have tested our plugin for opera built-in ads blocker extension on 1.2 version. We would recommend you to use latest version which will support for opera also.

IS IT WORKING WITH GOOGLE ADSENSE?

Yes, and probably with all kinds of content hidden by AdBlocker software.

IS IT COMBABILITY WITH CACHING SYSTEM?

Yes, it is. It may depend on the parameter also. But clear the settings after changing the plugin settings.

IS THIS COMPATIBLE WITH WOOCOMMERCE?

Yes, it is. It will compatible with most of the plugin that exists on WordPress repository.

I FOUND INCOMPATIBILITY, WHAT WILL I DO?

Yes, For this you have to purchase the premium version of Ads Block Detector. And also check the documentation.

CHP Ads Block claims they have tested for uBlock. No, they did not. And they are aware that it is not working properly for uBlock. They even have a dedicated page on their official website for uBlock, offering workarounds. But that does not really work. Even better, their own website has the same issue, even if you have whitelisted their website, the pop-up still appear. So they cannot make it works on their own website as well.

The best plugin for counter ad blockers, count what is happening, and display a very clean message. The plugin is lightweight and does not slow down when pages loading. The plugin is clean and professional looking, which is very important for notifications (intrusive). There are many settings. I just encountered a problem with the world map which does not work well in terms of statistics. The estimated incomes do not seem very precise or justified, but it is difficult to do otherwise. The CPM or the clicks are variable from one site to another, from one advertising agency to another. But all this is parameterized in advance by the author. In short, a very good plugin. Good support and follow-up too.
