A booking between two exception locations, or between the area and anywhere else outside it, is blocked automatically with the existing “No Transport Available” message. Off by default in Settings > General Settings; existing sites are unaffected until an admin turns it on. * Added: Multiple Operation Areas can be selected for Service Area Restriction at once (e.g. several cities served independently) – a pickup or drop-off inside any one of them counts as “in the service area”. * Added: [mptbm_booking] shortcode `pickup` and `dropoff` parameters to pre-fill the pickup/drop-off fields for `dynamic`/`fixed_map` searches, with the route automatically previewed on the map (drawn via the free public OSM/OSRM routing service, not a paid Google Distance Matrix lookup) – the real server-verified fare is still calculated normally the moment the visitor searches. * Improved: The pickup/drop-off route preview above now geocodes both addresses in parallel instead of one after another, roughly halving the time before the preview route appears. * Added: [mptbm_booking] shortcode `pickup_zone` and `dropoff_zone` parameters to pre-select a Locations-taxonomy pickup/drop-off dropdown by term ID for `fixed_zone`/` fixed_zone_dropoff` searches, with the matching zone marker placed on the map automatically. * Fixed: An intermittent site-side output issue could HTML-entity-encode a `&&` inside certain inline scripts, breaking them; the new scripts above avoid the token entirely rather than depend on a fix elsewhere. * Fixed: Operation areas can now be saved with a hand-drawn boundary even when location search returns no suggestions. The starting location is only a label– the geo-fence itself is matched against the drawn polygon – so typing a name is now enough, and “Add area” no longer stays permanently disabled. * Fixed: Location search suggestions no longer disappear from every operation-area field when the Google Maps API key has no legacy Places API enabled. The autocomplete setup now checks for the Places library first instead of throwing, which previously stopped all three location fields from initialising. * Added: A console warning naming the missing Places library, so this is diagnosable without reading the plugin source. * Documented: Fixed Daily pricing (`fixed_daily`) – book a vehicle for one or more full days at a per-day rate, with an admin-configurable minimum number of days. This had already shipped in an earlier release but was missing from this changelog. #### 2.0.9 – 2026-08-15 * Fixed: Fares are now calculated in the distance unit the site is actually set to. The “Duration By Kilometer or Mile” setting only reached the trip summary, while every fare multiplied its per-unit rate by the distance in kilometres – so a site set to Mile charged its per-mile rate for each kilometre travelled.
