I just needed a way to be able to customize tables in blog posts…. simple things like styling cells, highlight rows, spanning columns etc. The flexible table block has it all, plus some nice usability improvements too. I have forked this plugin to make some minor modifications to suit my own needs, and found the code easy to work with to do so. The one that comes with Gutenberg does not do the job well. it’s a bit limited. So i decided to try those “free”version of paid table plugin like Ninja table and tablepress. the experience is kind of awful with plenty of restrictions unless you pay. While searching for another free plugin , I came across this. I was hesitant but decided to install and give it a try. Basically does everything i want . Thanks.
