⚡ WooCommerce、投稿、固定ページ、画像

デフォルトでは、WebP 画像コンバーター は投稿、固定ページ、WooCommerce ページに WebP 画像を提供します。将来のリリースでは、必要に応じてこの機能を ON/OFF できるようになる予定です。

NB: The Convert Images on Page Load option helps you convert and serve WebP images for images that were already uploaded on your WP website before the plugin was installed. It does this when the page or post that contains that image is loaded.

インストール

  1. WordPress 管理ダッシュボードで プラグイン > 新規追加 に移動します。
  2. Search for WebP 画像コンバーター plugin from the official WordPress plugin repository.
  3. 今すぐインストール をクリックし、次に 有効化 をクリックします。
  4. WP 管理ダッシュボードで WebP 画像コンバーター メニューオプションを見つけてください。
  5. クリックしてください。
  6. ここでプラグインのオプションを設定できます。アップロード時に画像を変換 オプションを有効にしてください。

It does its job perfectly! The best thing is that the image is converted on demand when the user visits the page or post (and also the WooCommerce product), so there's no need to run the server at 100% when they are converted in bulk! It's one of the few (very few) plugins that work this way!

Works as advertised. I would love to see a scaling capability, however, for images over a user-specified width. I love the ability to auto-generate webp on-demand on user-view of the image!
