MIA, Bank Card & StarCard Payment Gateway for VictoriaBank (Community Edition) is
a comprehensive WooCommerce plugin that enables Moldovan merchants to accept all
VictoriaBank payment methods through a single plugin.
**This is a community-developed plugin and is not officially affiliated with or
endorsed by VictoriaBank.**
#### Supported Payment Methods
* **MIA Instant Payment** – QR-code based instant payments via Moldova’s MIA system
* **Visa / Mastercard** – International card payments via VictoriaBank e-Gateway
with RSA SHA-256 digital signatures
* **StarCard Installments** – Pay in installments (3, 6, 12, or 24 months) with
VictoriaBank StarCard
* **StarCard Loyalty Points** – Pay with accumulated StarCard loyalty points

#### Payment Flows
**Card Payments (Visa/MC, StarCard):**
1. Customer selects payment method at checkout
2. Plugin generates TRTYPE=0 parameters with P_SIGN digital signature
3. Customer is redirected to VictoriaBank secure payment page
4. Bank sends callback with authorization result
5. Plugin automatically executes TRTYPE=21 (Sales Completion)
6. Order is marked as paid
**MIA Instant Payment:**
1. Customer selects MIA at checkout
2. Dynamic QR code is generated via VictoriaBank API
3. Customer scans QR code or uses mobile deeplink
4. Payment is confirmed via JWT webhook or AJAX polling
5. Order status updates automatically
#### Requirements
* WordPress 6.0 or higher
* WooCommerce 7.0 or higher
* PHP 8.0 or higher (required for RSA cryptographic operations)
* PHP OpenSSL extension
* Active VictoriaBank merchant account with API credentials
* HTTPS enabled on your website
#### Configuration
After installation, configure each payment method at **WooCommerce > Settings >
Payments**:
**For MIA Instant Payment:**
* API credentials (username, password) * Merchant
IBAN * VictoriaBank public key (VBCA.crt) for JWT verification * QR code expiry
time
**For Visa/Mastercard, StarCard methods:**
* Terminal ID (8 digits) and Merchant
ID (15 digits) from VictoriaBank * RSA private key (.pem) for request signing *
VictoriaBank public key (.pem) for callback verification * Register callback URL
with VictoriaBank: `https://yoursite.com/?wc-api=vb_callback`

is necessary for payment processing through VictoriaBank’s APIs. All payment data

#### Automatic Installation
1. Go to **Plugins > Add New** in your WordPress admin
2. Search for “MIA Payment Gateway for VictoriaBank”
3. Click **Install Now** and then **Activate**
#### Manual Installation
1. Download the plugin ZIP file
2. Go to **Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**
3. Choose the ZIP file and click **Install Now**
4. Click **Activate Plugin**
#### Upgrading from MIA-only version (2.x)
If you are upgrading from the MIA-only version (2.x), the MIA payment method will
continue to work exactly as before (including partial refunds added in 2.2.0). The
new card payment methods (Visa/Mastercard, StarCard) are added as separate gateways
and can be enabled independently.
No database migration is needed. Your existing MIA settings and transaction history
are preserved.
## FAQ
### Is this an official VictoriaBank plugin?
No, this is a community-developed plugin. It integrates with VictoriaBank’s official
APIs but is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by VictoriaBank.
### Do I need separate terminal IDs for each card payment method?
Yes. VictoriaBank assigns separate Terminal IDs for Visa/Mastercard, StarCard Installments,
and StarCard Points. Each method has its own settings page.
### Can I enable only some payment methods?
Yes. Each payment method (MIA, Visa/MC, StarCard Rate, StarCard Points) can be enabled
or disabled independently.
### What is the callback URL I need to register with VictoriaBank?
For card payments: `https://yoursite.com/?wc-api=vb_callback`
For MIA webhooks:`
https://yoursite.com/wp-json/miapg/v1/webhook`
### How do refunds work?
For card payments, use the standard WooCommerce refund button. The plugin sends
TRTYPE=24 to VictoriaBank automatically.
For MIA payments, both full and partial
refunds are supported from the same WooCommerce refund button. Important: MIA allows
only ONE refund per payment (either the full amount or a single partial amount) –
after a partial refund, the remaining amount cannot be refunded through MIA. A MIA
payment can be refunded a few minutes after it was made, once the bank has settled
it.
### Does the plugin work with the WooCommerce Checkout block?
Yes. All payment methods are available both in the block-based Cart & Checkout (
default in new WooCommerce stores) and in the classic shortcode checkout.
### Is HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) supported?
Yes, the plugin is fully compatible with WooCommerce HPOS.
### How do I enable debug logging?
Add the following to your `wp-config.php` file:
