This plugin connects to the WhatsApp Business API (via Facebook Graph API) to enable WhatsApp messaging functionality.
Service Used: WhatsApp Business Cloud API (Facebook Graph API)
What data is sent:
* WhatsApp Business Phone Number ID
* WhatsApp recipient phone numbers
* Message content and templates
* Customer name (when available)
When data is sent:
* When customers click the chat widget to initiate a conversation
* When store sends messages (Pro version only for automation features)
User Consent:
* Customers must opt-in via checkout checkbox to receive marketing messages (Pro version)
* Chat widget usage implies consent for customer-initiated conversations

- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/whatswoo-lite/ - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen
- Navigate to WhatsWoo > Settings to configure your chat widget
- Get your API credentials from Meta Business Manager
- Save and enjoy!
