Changes the status of all “future” posts to “publish”.
So future posts will show in your blog like other posts.
I use it to show events. No calendar plugin is needed.

While perhaps not it's core focus it works great with releases as well. Sure it does need some addition functions to go well with open comments and all that but it helps a lot in getting that running as it should.

Functional despite the lack of updates. It would be welcome that its developer devotes a little time because this plugin is very useful.

Until now (WS 4.9.8) this piece of code still works!

Brilliant and well done. Thank-you. One little addition maybe. In the editor screen publish meta-box post date section it would be great to see a checkbox 'hide until published date' as an option to hold back certain posts individually. Yes, I know there's a admin page for IDs to do this manually, but a quick user checkbox would be even better. Nonetheless... a hearty 5***** for a great idea.

Great stuff, just what I was looking for to use regular posts for future events list.
One small detail: I think it would make more sense to INclude categories, instead of EXclude them. Most users will use this plugin for an events page, so probably for 1 category. Now you have to enter all cat ID's except the one you want to use it on. Feels like the other way round.
