## 説明

**Papepo Local WebP Converter** is built for website owners who demand peak performance
and maximum cost-efficiency. Unlike most cloud-based image optimizers on the market
that charge per image or require expensive monthly subscriptions, our tool fully
utilizes your website’s local server resources to process images.

This means:

 * **Zero Cost:** Never pay monthly fees or buy optimization credits again.
 * **Unlimited Quotas:** Whether you upload 100 or 100,000 images, they are all
   processed completely free of charge.
 * **100% Privacy:** Your images never leave your server. No data is sent to third-
party APIs, ensuring total GDPR compliance.

### Key Features

 * **Auto WebP Conversion:** Automatically converts incoming JPG and PNG uploads
into Google’s recommended next-gen WebP format.
 * **On-the-Fly Optimization:** Images are compressed and converted instantly during
the upload process without disrupting your workflow.
 * **Custom Quality Control:** You have full control over the compression quality(
80% recommended) to perfectly balance visual fidelity and file size.
 * **Server Environment Check:** Built-in tool to automatically verify if your server
supports GD or Imagick libraries for local WebP processing.

## インストール

 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to **Papepo Local WebP** in the left admin menu to configure your compression
    quality.
 4. Any new images uploaded to your Media Library will now be automatically optimized!

## FAQ

### Is it really 100% free?

Yes! Because we use your server’s own processing power (PHP GD/Imagick) to compress
the images, there are no cloud computing costs involved. We have made this tool
completely free and unlimited for all users.

### Do I need an API Key or account?

No. Once installed, it works immediately out of the box. No registration or third-
party accounts are required.

### Will this degrade my image quality?

The WebP format is designed to significantly reduce file size while maintaining
a visual quality that is nearly indistinguishable from the original to the human
eye. You can also adjust the compression quality percentage in the settings if you
need higher fidelity.
