This plugin lets you add a Quote of the Day widget to your WordPress page. Select your favorite topic – BrainyQuote, Art Quote, Funny Quote, Love Quote or Nature Quote – and famous quotations will automatically appear on your page, every day!

Can’t decide which topic you like best? No problem! You can place multiple Quote of the Day widgets on your page and enjoy several topic feeds. Our BrainyQuote, Art Quote, Funny Quote, Love Quote and Nature Quote topic feeds contain family-friendly quotes by famous authors that are funny, inspirational, motivational and wise.

BrainyQuote is the web’s largest quotation site, and with our huge collection of quotes, you can expect a fresh Quote of the Day that educates, entertains and informs your audience.

インストール

  1. Upload brainyquote_widget.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. WordPress 管理画面の プラグイン から有効化します。
  3. Go to Appearance, Widgets in WordPress.
  4. Drag the BrainyQuote Widget to the sidebar, for example the Main Widget Area or the Secondary Widget Area.
  5. Optionally, select the type of quotes you would like to see. (for example, General, Art, Funny, Love, or Nature)

FAQ

Can I add multiple quote widgets to my site?

Yes! Each time you add a widget, you can select the topic feeds you want to appear on your page. You could have one widget that displays the “Art Quote of the Day” and another widget
below it displaying the “Nature Quote of the Day”.

What versions of WordPress does this work with?

We tested with 5.5.1, 4.9.8, 4.8.1, 4.6.1, 4.4.2, 3.8.1, 3.7.1, and 3.6.1 but it probably works with other versions (3.x or greater).

Good Idea – Worth Installing

Our CEO loves having the Quote of the Day on our internal website! Had a small issue with the data stream, but was corrected very quickly. I recommend this to anyone who wants to provide refreshing new content to their visitors.
