Simple WP Maintenance is a lightweight and easy-to-use plugin that allows you to activate a maintenance mode on your WordPress website. Once activated, only logged-in users with the ‘manage_options’ capability (usually administrators) can view the site, while other users will see a custom maintenance message.

  1. Upload the simple-wp-maintenance folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.

  3. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Simple WP Maintenance’ to configure the plugin
