評価

Only one I found that works

This is the only plugin that allows me website to send via SMTP… my only request would be to put out an update to remove the error message when the port is left blank.

I found an obscure post on a forum about a guy troubleshooting the issue… apparently with 1and1 if your website is hosted with them and you are also trying to send email via SMTP through them, you need to select to use no authentication and leave the port blank with the server “smtp.1and1.com”. This apparently is the only way to route the emails correctly. I’ve been battling trying to get this to function for about 4 hours until now… thanks for allowing the port to be left blank in your plugin!

Loving it!

I was able to use the information in the trouble shoot page to make goDaddy SMTP server to work.
Works like a charm, thank you.

Did not work for me

I have been wanting to bypass HostGator’s SMTP for some time and use Zoho. I thought this plugin would be perfect for my needs, but the test email hung, and the SMTP server query still brought up HostGator’s servers instead of Zoho.

Rather than go without email altogether as things are troubleshooted, it was better to just remove the plugin. There are many good reviews, so for many, it apparently works well–that was the reason I downloaded it and installed it. But it did not do the job for me, so I have to give it 1 star.
