Along with being better looking, webp images are considerably smaller and make your website faster. The problem with WordPress is that it doesn’t support webp image natively. This is where this plugin comes in; with this plugin, you can enable webp support in any WordPress site regardless of theme. See plugin’s GitHub repo [Support Webp](https://github.com/sayedulsayem/support-webp) ### **Features** * Ability to use webp image * Supports all theme * Devoid of any bloatware; it’s programmed in PHP to reduce overhead and has negligible impact on your website’s loading time. * Free and continuous updates for compatibility and new features are always on the horizon ### **PRIVACY POLICY** This plugin does not collect, log, sell or trade any kind of information about your website. I was disheartened to see that there's no way to add webp in my WordPress, unless i cam across this plugin. This works exactly as advertised, it's seamless and hassle free, there's no overhead. Pleasantly surprised to discover such a nifty plugin, I hope this gets continuous development. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/eea125ada6cab1a4800b962401636275e0f6169ca91c435411fda0950b1e7c31? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Best and Helpful](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/best-and-helpful/)󠁿 [kawsar90630](https://profiles.wordpress.org/kawsar90630/) 2021年2月23日 1 reply Best and helpful plugin, i searching this plugin Most important plugin ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/6ba6c8252b7c5231eb2bea3f156136207d980a919974f9904dc762c663829dc4? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Such a plugin was needed in WordPress.
