This is when Twitter stop unauthenticated calls to their API, and block the old
widgets. https://dev.twitter.com/blog/api-v1-retirement-final-dates
This plugin won’t support the new Twitter Widget.

Recommend you use the built in plugin uploader which comes with WordPress, but if you prefer the manual way
- Upload
un-official-twitter-widget.phpto the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

The new twitter widget uses asynchronous javascript to load, this allows the rest of your blog to continue loading
whilst it fetches your latest tweets.
