Managers, Admins, and Super Admins can edit tasks.

Add Task uses the native WordPress TinyMCE editor. Existing descriptions stay in view mode until Edit Description is selected while editing.

Project participants can add task notes from the Task view. Notes show the author's WordPress profile image, display name, timestamp, and content.

Milestones support View/Edit, task assignment, AJAX add/remove task relationships, Complete/Reopen/Delete actions, and automatic completion when linked tasks are complete.

Project files use the WordPress Media Library.

Discussion topics and replies are included.

Activity history records important project actions with visible dates, server-side search, date filtering, and AJAX pagination at 100 activities per page.

Guru Roles

Guru roles are separate from WordPress roles and persist across assigned projects:

Super Admin

Admin

Manager

Team Member

Viewer / Client

WordPress Administrators automatically qualify as Guru Super Admins. Additional Guru Super Admins can be assigned from the Team screen.

A project member can receive a Manager override for an individual project without changing their global Guru role.

Payments

Project payments support:

Multiple payment entries per user and project.

Optional milestone relationship.

Paid: Yes or No.

Automatic paid date/time when changed to Yes.

Paid date cleared when changed back to No.

Payment activity is sensitive and visible only to Guru Super Admins.

Super Admin payment views group records by project user in expandable accordions.

Normal users can only see their own payment records.

Shortcodes

[guru_project_manager]

Displays the full permission-aware frontend project workflow for the logged-in user. The Due Soon Window applies to both task and milestone due soon emails. Uninstall also preserves data by default. Guru Super Admins can explicitly enable "Delete all Guru Project Manager data on uninstall" under Settings.
