Store managers can assign allergens from each WooCommerce product and display either the full library or a product-specific list with shortcodes.

Features:

Editable allergen library with optional images.

Fourteen editable starter labels based on EU Annex II categories on new installations.

Product assignment metabox.

Accessible semantic list output.

Theme-friendly responsive styles.

Legacy Temptation shortcode and data compatibility.

WooCommerce HPOS compatibility declaration.

This plugin helps present information; it does not provide legal or food-safety advice. Merchants remain responsible for the accuracy and regulatory compliance of their product information.

The starter labels are shorthand, not the complete legal wording or a verified ingredient list. For example, Annex II refers to cereals containing gluten and specifies a concentration criterion for sulphur dioxide and sulphites. Review the current Annex II and every product's ingredients with the person responsible for the store's food information before publishing.

No customer data is collected or sent to an external service.

Troubleshooting

An allergen does not appear on a product? Check that it exists in WooCommerce > Allergens and is selected in that product's Product allergens panel, then update the product.

The full library is missing? Add
[wolfcourt_allergen_table]
to a page and confirm that the allergen library contains entries. Images are optional.

An old store still shows duplicate styling or output? Deactivate the former Allergènes plugin and its separate Style Patch; this plugin includes the public styling.

Review every allergen assignment and label with the person responsible for the store's food information before publishing. The plugin cannot verify ingredients or regulatory accuracy.

Privacy

The allergen library is stored in a WordPress site option, and product assignments are stored as product metadata. Optional images use the existing WordPress media library. The plugin collects no customer data, uses no telemetry and sends no data to an external service. Uninstall deliberately preserves the library, product assignments and media so food-information records are not silently lost; the store owner must remove them separately if needed.

Install and activate WooCommerce.

Upload and activate the plugin ZIP.

Open WooCommerce > Allergens and review the allergen library.

Assign allergens in the Product allergens panel on each product.

Add
[wolfcourt_allergen_table]
to show the full library or
[wolfcourt_product_allergens title="Allergens"]
on a product page.

When migrating from Temptation Allergènes, deactivate both the original plugin and its Style Patch before activating this plugin. Existing library entries, product assignments, and old shortcodes continue to work.

Does this guarantee regulatory compliance?

No. Regulations and store processes vary. The plugin displays the data entered by the merchant.

Can I omit images?

Yes.
