**ZeroV99 Tax Number** is a WooCommerce extension that seamlessly integrates a **
Tax Identification Number (TIN)** field into your store’s checkout process and billing
addresses.
 Designed for businesses that need to collect valid tax IDs (such as 
NIF, CIF, VAT, or similar) for invoicing, tax compliance, or B2B transactions.

## インストール

 1. Download and unzip the plugin from the official WordPress repository or upload 
    it via your WordPress dashboard.
 2. Go to ‘Plugins’ > ‘Add New’, click ‘Upload Plugin’, and select the ZIP file.
 3. Activate the plugin.
 4. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.
 5. Configure placeholder text and field options under WooCommerce > Settings > Tax
    Number.

## FAQ

### Where does the Tax Number field appear?

The field appears during the WooCommerce checkout process and is included in the
billing address for both the customer and admin views.

### Is the Tax Number stored in the order data?

Yes, the value is saved as order metadata and also stored in the user’s billing 
profile if applicable.

### Can I customize the placeholder for the field?

Yes, you can change the default placeholder using the plugin settings.

The plugin includes an optional setting to delete all its data upon uninstallation.
