具体的じゃないですね。
もっとも大事な情報の一つと考えられるエラーの内容がわかりません。
ディレクトリが存在しない、というエラーなのか、それとも書き込めないというエラーなのかで話が変わってきます。
私も使っていますが、
/wp/wp-content/uploads/photo/
という設定になっています。
/export/sd06/www/jp/r/e/xxx/5/4/sdxxx/xxx.com
を取っ払うと動くかもしれません（確証はありませんが・・）。

すみません、情報不足でした。
エラーは、下記のようなものが出ます。
アップローダーでメディアをアップロードし終えた後、
移動先のフォルダを選択し、移動させようとすると失敗するような形で出ます。
パスの問題なのかな、と思ったのですが、設定が間違っているのでしょうか。

私も同じ事をやってみましたが、やはり上手く動作しませんでした。
ローカルだと、複雑なパスでなく、動作もうまくいきました。
設定の問題なのでしょうか。
