Neutrope Quick Export adds a simple Tools Neutrope Quick Export screen and a “Export selected to CSV” bulk action to your post, page, and public custom post type lists. It is built for everyday production work: SEO inventories, content audits, and client-facing lists — not heavy migration.
The plugin is intentionally small and stays out of your way:
- Lightweight. It loads only in the admin area and adds nothing to your front end.
- Read-only. It never writes options, post meta, custom tables, or scheduled events. Exporting changes nothing on your site.
- Excel-friendly CSV. Files are UTF-8 with a BOM so multi-byte text (including Japanese) opens correctly in spreadsheet apps.
- Privacy first. User e-mail addresses, login names, and comment-author data are never exported.
- Respects the standard interface. It only adds a Tools screen and one bulk action. Existing screens and actions are left untouched.
- No ads. No upsells. No “Pro” nag screens. No external requests. No tracking.
How it works
- Tools Neutrope Quick Export — Choose post types, statuses, an optional published/modified date range, and a maximum row count, then download a CSV.
- Bulk action — On any post, page, or public custom post type list, select rows and choose Export selected to CSV.

Every export includes these columns:

Featured image columns are on by default (a single checkbox on the Tools screen) and add useful, low-risk information for pre-migration audits. Only metadata is exported — never the image file itself:

What is intentionally not included
- User e-mail addresses, login names, and comment-author information are never exported.
- Image files themselves are never downloaded, exported, or bundled — featured image columns hold only the attachment ID, URL, and file name.
- No import, restore, XML/JSON/Markdown output, WP-CLI, REST API, scheduled exports, or external/cloud integrations in this version.

- Upload the
neutrope-quick-exportfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, or install the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
- Go to Tools Neutrope Quick Export to configure and download a CSV, or use the Export selected to CSV bulk action on any post, page, or public custom post type list.

Which file format does it produce?

A UTF-8 CSV with a byte order mark (BOM). The BOM lets Excel and other spreadsheet apps detect the encoding so multi-byte text is not garbled.

Does it export private data?

No. User e-mail addresses, login names, and comment-author data are never exported. The only person-related field is the author’s public display name, and it is off by default.

Does it download or export the featured image file?

No. The featured image columns contain only the attachment ID, URL, and file name — metadata that already exists in your database. Image files are never downloaded, exported, or bundled, and no external request is made. You can turn the featured image columns off with a single checkbox on the Tools screen.

Which post types can I export?

Posts, pages, and any public custom post type that has an admin list. On the Tools screen, custom post types are labelled “Custom post type: ” so they are easy to recognise, and the “Export selected to CSV” bulk action is available on each of those list screens.

Who is allowed to export?

Only users with the WordPress export capability (administrators by default). The bulk action additionally confirms that you can edit each selected item before including it.

Does it change anything on my site?

No. Neutrope Quick Export is read-only. It does not create options, post meta, custom tables, or cron jobs, so there is nothing to clean up on uninstall.

Is there a limit on how many rows I can export?

The Tools screen lets you set a maximum row count, capped at 10,000 per export to keep memory and time predictable. The bulk action exports exactly the items you selected.

Does the plugin connect to any external service?

No. There are no external requests, no tracking, and no analytics of any kind.
